REALTIME WATER AND POLYMER ANALYTICS

  • This is where our dry add units stand out from basic dry polymer systems.

Most equipment just meters the dry polymer and sends it downstream. Our units run a water slip stream alongside the polymer feeder. That slip stream continuously measures your frac water quality using electronic probes, and records everything throughout the job.

This matters because frac water quality in the Anadarko Basin changes. Produced water ratios shift, TDS levels vary between stages, and pH swings can affect your polymer hydration and friction reduction performance. If you don’t know what your water is doing, you can’t know what your polymer is doing.

What we monitor in real time:

  • Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
  • Water Temperature
  • pH
  • ORP (Oxidative Reduction Potential)
  • FAC (Free Available Chlorine)
  • Conductivity
  • Resistivity
  • Polymer Viscosity and Pressure Profile

All of these measurements are made continuously throughout the entire frac water volume. The data is recorded against polymer performance, so you can build cause-and-effect relationships between water quality changes and polymer behavior. That’s the foundation for making smarter polymer adjustments on the fly — not just reacting to problems after the fact.
